The Realness: Poppin’ Molly Isn’t Cool

Hot 97’s morning show radio personality Peter Rosenberg voices his opinion on rappers excessive usage of “Popping molly” in their songs. He says to rappers, "You’re being lazy…you’re being unoriginal, and you’re being irresponsible…".  Rosenberg further tells them, "Be your own person, you don’t have to try to fit in with other people by saying you do an unhealthy drug!". Rosenberg presents some pretty good points in this clip. It definitely feels like rappers are saying it just to sound cool in their songs.
